The Shelton - Sinclair

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Shelton. The apartment exceeded expectations in terms of how comfortable I felt. It was exceptionally clean, very modern and aesthetically pleasing. Mika, the host was very responsive and any requests were dealt with promptly. Ms Nola upstairs was very gracious and warm which made me feel comfortable and safe. It really felt like my home-from-home. I loved the keyless access, it made me feel free not having to carry a key every time I left the apartment and it felt secure. I also liked that the bedroom was lockable by key on the outside, meaning that there was that little bit of extra security and peace of mind. I felt a sense of peace and safety staying at the Shelton and I will surely return.

The only thing I would say is that it wasn’t feasible to walk to and from the beach everyday. And in my downtimes, I would have liked the option of a TV.

TV did not work - Host did not respond to email to rectify Customer Service poor - Host banged on the bathroom window one night scaring me, had an attitude because I hadnt read her email re payment - that put me off Hurricane Beryl happening - affected Lighting on 1st day Location- said 0.3m from airport and I booked because of that but is more 3-4km. Didnt like actual location Noticed the closed gate to my apartment was open on my return No Sign on Property Ants on the bed. Bit me all over Traffic Noise - Extremely Loud Steps down to property, very narrow - difficult with suitcases Paid more that what was quoted by Bookings as Host’s balance incl tax Bed was very high - had to climb up

The Shelton was cosy, clean and comfortable. I felt at home from the start of my stay.

The bottom apartment was nice street is noisy but can maintain location is town only it is a taxi town First time in Jamaica 🇯🇲🌟🤷🪩

No room service probably have to ask for but okay could due without No washer or dryer on site said on booking was available

We parked inside a gate and walked down a ray of stairs that led you to a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment that looks brand new. The water was not hot but did get luke warm. There is comfort wifi and great ambience. Ceiling fan and Ac available which is a plus. The bed stands very high and very comfortable. The living room was equipped with a huge full mirror and furniture as well as the kitchen was furnished with all you need to cook. I loved it so much I went back and stayed another night and will be going back. The area is located walking distance to downtown as well.

I stayed only 1 night and wanted to stay longer.

I liked that the facilities were clean and in excellent condition and it's close proximity to downtown Montego Bay. My host was also very pleasant.

I wish the kitchen had a packet of complementary tea bags and sugar so we could make tea.

The property was easy to locate and had everything needed for a comfort stay.
