The host is exceptionally kind. Mika first cared if I was feeling safe and if I was at a safe location. I didn't have a taxi number but was quickly sorted. I don't think I ever been so cared for by a host before, and that felt so warm. On arrival, Tamika, the host assistant, was so welcoming and showed me around the apartment and was assertive when saying if I needed anything, I could let her know. The apartment is gorgeous and has absolutely everything you need. If you decide to cook, there's a fully equipped kitchen with cute plates. At the lounge, there's a comfortable sofa and Netflix, so you can chill after a long day. The bed is so comfortable and I had a lovely night sleep. There's also a cute garden where you can sunbathe on days you don't feel like going out. At night, you can get beautiful views of the city lights from the upper part of the property. So beautiful. It's well located if you want to be near town and it has taxis going up and down regularly. It's a good place to stay if you just arrived Mobay or if you want to go either Negril or Portland after. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and safe. I love Mount Salem. There's all sorts of amenities, and you can feel the sense of community around the area. Even found a hairdresser. Will definitely be back and totally recommend.
