Loved the remoteness! It was so amazing to be in the middle of nowhere with not a soul in sight.

Loved everything. Bit of a shortage on drinking glasses, but we don't really care what vessel we have a drink out of. That said it didn't spoil our stay at all!

We loved the remoteness and the veld.

The location were spectacular. It's a great venue for walking and enjoying nature. The solitude, nature sounds like birds and the wind in the trees added to the experience. Not to hear any man made sounds, what a joy. We will definitely visit again.

There was nothing not to like.

We were here for the second time and it was again breath-taking!!!! 5 days offline, I mean, not just WiFi, I mean OFFLINE. Basic comfort and this sourrounding of NOTHINGNESS, million stars, what do you need more? Hope to come back soon.

CROCKERY AND CUTLERY NOT CLEAN NOR MANY OF THE KITCHEN UTENSILS. THE PLACE WAS GRUBBY ,TORN CURTAINS, BROCKEN DOOR LOCK. TOILET WAS NOT FIXED TO FLOOR AND LEAKED, IT ALSO DID NOT FLUSH. NO GAS FOR HOT WATER SHOWER. FRIDGE DIDNT WORK, THE PLACE WAS NOT CLEANED PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. UNBEARABLY HOT. AWFUL.WE LEFT A DAY EARLY

This is the perfect to unplug. No mobile reception, no ac electricity, just undisturbed stillness and quiet. Time to relax, reflect, communicate, write paint draw, hike and read.

It could be cleaner and better maintained.
