The stillness was incredible...we didn't see a soul the whole weekend and it was bliss.

Just a suggestion...it would have been great to have some salt provided.

The remoteness (no signal), the huge indoor fireplace, the plunge pool to cool off...

The remoteness, peace, safety,no lights around, birds. Good Solar lights available. The splash pool. No cell phone reception.

The solar fridge goes off as soon as the solar panels loose the sun, which suggests that the battery is flat. Starts working again after sunrise when the panels get the sun.

How tranquil and well equipped it is.

Nice open plan. Peaceful.

Fridge did not work at all. (Ment that I had to leave a day earlier) Paid for 2 nights and stayed for one. Toilet pan completely loose. No reception what so ever ment I couldn’t contact anyone to report the fridge situation. I asked before hand if there was a little reception and was told there is about 100m away from cottage but couldn’t find any.

Everything. John helped us with our car battery problem on a Sunday!!!! And they helped us the Monday as well. Thanks a lot.

Great spot. A little remote so make sure you stocked up.

Bit hard to find epspecially at night. Signs are quite small but at least reflect at night. Aproximate km between each turn would be useful with instructions.

The peace and quiet on the farm was what I wanted.

There was nothing that was unlikable.

Loved the atmosphere and simplicity. Great attention to detail in the house. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect place to relax and unwind.
