GBScenic, peaceful, cosy, bright, spacious room, warm & inviting setting and interior. Generally well appointed and very comfortable and restful. Delighted to find a hair dryer and an air fryer among other things, including a kettle.
A couple little things missing would have made all the difference — oven mitts, salt & pepper (shakers or packets), coffee, tea bags, milk and sugar.
IEAbsolutely fantastic, even though it was 8.30 when we arrived, our host still came to welcome us and let us in to the cabin and show us the facilities, 10/10 recommend, will definitely stay again
AUIt was a quiet location

IEBobs cabin is a lovely little property if you are looking to enjoy nature and have some peace and quiet on your holiday. It’s in a great location, about 10 minutes drive from Oranmore and half an hour from Galway city. It was very clean and tidy with plenty of room for 2 people. It is situated near main roads so it was easy to get to and the hosts were very helpful and kind.
IEBrilliant hosts so clean and staff are so nice

No hot-plate or microwave. Only an air fryer without instructions. I did suggest that the lady write an sheet of basic instructions and have it laminated, which she seemed to accept. I asked for directions to get there, and all I got was 4 sad faces! The booking.com entry was minimal with regard to what was provided. The booking.com entry did not say whether linen was included. I asked you to find out, but got no reply. It also seemed that the Red Squirrel blob on the map was in the wrong place. We were ably helped by a local.
FRAine was an attentive host and the room was clean, and quite well appointed, and warm.
“Cabin” was a bit “Heath Robinson” - some corrugated tin walls, slightly dodgy water pressure from all taps, and a couple of sockets in the kitchen which didn’t work. But - our main problem was that there was no internet connection, despite the promise of there being one. Hostess was adamant there was no problem with other guests etc, but we chatted to the 3 young guys in the next cabin, and none of them could connect at all either. Not a problem with our devices either (as she suggested) as we have 5 devices (laptop, iPad and 3 x iPhones) of differing ages - but nothing picked up a signal. If you advertise a facility (wi-fi) then you really must provide that facility, as it was a problem for us - although we were able to connect at all local bars or restaurants. TV reception was also very poor - there only being an internal aerial.
