Tourist House Suites Otavalo

It was one of the best places I stayed in South America. The owner is very friendly, the bed very comfortable, the price very fair (keep in mind to pay extra for an additional person in the double room) and they also washed my clothes for a fair price. Very nice place!

The flat is very big! we weren't expecting it! everything was super clean and spacious. the beds were comfortable and warm! the flat was very bright and close to the city centre and Ponchos Square! we would love to come back one day!

There would be only 2 things that I would like to point out: - wifi the connection was very bad. It would be nice if that could improve. -water/shower it was hard to get hot water and the shower head wasn't working properly. we were still able to take warm showers.

Location in the city

Ground floor apartment, no window, no light. Netflix did not work.

It is a super clean and spacious apartment, still centrally located and within walking distance of major highlights in Otavalo. The couple that hosts you will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you enjoy your stay. The kitchen allows you to make your own food if you would like to. The shower has decent pressure and nice temperature. The WiFi works well enough for at least WA and streaming. We got an excellent deal, great value for money.

It is located on a busy street and it can be quite noisy. If you plan to be out most of the time, it won't bother you much, as at night it calms down. It takes a bit to get used to ringing the doorbell and having someone open the front door for you. For safety reasons you only get a key to the apartment, not the front door.
