Very convenient location and easiness to access with the phone. I didn't meet anyone but the host sent me a couple of messages to check how I was doing. Rooms were very spacious and beds comfortable. If you're planning to use the apartment just to sleep, then I'd recommend it... Although probably it'd expensive.

The apartment is smaller than it looks in the pictures. It's quite old and only very superficially decorated to display well on pictures. But not very comfy at all (i.e. shower was a bit smelly and rusty, with low pressure); specially the Kitchen/Living room was minimally equipped. All acceptable but, in my opinion, for what the apartmet is, the service is very overpriced -I go to this area of Madrid often to compare. On top of that, the apartment next door was undergoing renovation, plus there was a huge construction also undergoing at the street gate, locking all the access to the street. Although I acknowledge that it's not the responsibility of the host, but they're offering a turistic accommodation service - and such constant noise (from 8am in the morning) plust all the dust and dirtiness was unbearable. That's something that the host should have warned as they still charged the same money.

Location and amenities.

We weren’t warned about disruptive construction noise from the apartment next door.

all was very good, I just was a bit wary of the internet link to open the door (had my phone stolen and would have struggled to get in without a phone)

The location is great. The apartment is spacious and has all what is needed for a comfortable stay. Being an interior apartment it is very quiet.

The location was very convenient and main bedroom was very spacious.

The bathroom door and some of the kitchen equipment and utensils were not suitable.

Well located for transport, parks and galleries. That includes the most famous ones.

Hard pillows, insufficient kitchen equipment e.g. cutlery limited. Freezer in fridge needs defrosting. Bathroom door a bit problematic and awkward to open and close, right beside a bedroom, and no ventilation in bathroom. Few very basic supplies in fridge e.g. milk and some coffee and tea would be a nice touch.

AC is only in the kitchen not in bedrooms
