This is the grottiest and grubbiest of all properties advertised in the area. Wallpaper above the bed is ripped. Walls and woodwork are dirty and faded and poor quality. House is another scruffy house on this site in the middle of a council estate taken by foreign owners who are overcharging for it. No parking nearby, so had to drag a heavy suitcase for 10 minutes. Excessive rules that enforce removing your shoes but you risk walking on obviously dirty floors and in shower rooms/toilets or forced to wear their unsanitary communal ‘slippers’. Then, rude communications from the deluded staff who think their scruffy house is The Ritz. It’s a scruffy old council house with no room facilities, creepy cameras that are spying on the residents. Dirty dirty and absolutely no frills. If nothing could be worse - the bedding was old and smelly and the pillow was worse. It stank and had obviously never been washed. Deluded owners. Not worthy of U.K. hosting standards. The government need to regulate. Photos will not upload here. Will try to add later.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Very simple, clean and comfortable. Host very communicative on WhatsApp. Room good. Location excellent. Price excellent.

No shoes inside house - understand that this is for cleanliness but I'd prefer not to do that.

Only 15 minute walk to train station
