Check-in is officially at 4:00 PM – which is absurdly late to begin with – but even then, when we arrived on time, the cleaner was still inside and told us he’d need at least another hour. By 5:00 PM, we still couldn’t check in because he was still cleaning. The total cleaning time was apparently two hours, and the result was shocking – the floor was dirty, there were McDonald’s leftovers from the previous guests, and we had to vacuum ourselves just to feel somewhat comfortable. Communication with the hosts was downright insulting – we messaged them immediately about the check-in issue, and they completely ignored us. No apology, no explanation. The only response came the next day, and it was just to ask what time we’d be checking out. They blatantly ignored all our messages and questions – total disrespect. The apartment has potential – the location is great and it could be cozy if someone actually took care of it. Instead, we found broken lamps, a filthy sofa that desperately needs cleaning, and a horrible, unpleasant bathroom. There’s no elevator, and the apartment is on the top floor. We didn’t use the kitchen, so I can’t comment on that. On top of everything – there was absolutely no soap, neither in the bathroom nor the kitchen. In the bathroom, they had left some cheap, super watery dish soap that doesn’t even clean – apparently meant to serve as hand soap. That’s just ridiculous. The washing machine was also a problem – it was leaking, and we barely managed to stop it in time to avoid flooding the entire apartment. I do not recommend this place at all. The hosts clearly don’t care about the comfort or feedback of their guests. For this price and location, there are much better options out there where at least you’ll be treated with respect.

Everything was very good, except that whenever we tried to contact the owners to ask important questions, none was picking up. But overall the stay was very good, very comfortable.
