I got a message at 11:40pm the day before I was due to check in to say they had to cancel due to a double booking. There was no other accommodation available in the area due to the Hay festival which meant I had to completely change my plans for the wedding I was attending. They did not formally cancel the booking and asked me to which was suspicious.

It's handy for town (via the underpass) and the flat is lovely with lots of exposed wood beams and wany edged desk spaces. Big cups, handy kettle, fridge/freezer, microwave & some nice touches. There is a bad smell downstairs in the hall but once you're upstairs it's ok. TV reception was not good while we were there and the flat could do with a hoover, but it was good value for money.
