Before check in time I arrived with my luggage. It was very kind of them to keep it. The room is comfortable.

The facility is ideal if you have assumptions like me. - Host great, funny, helpful - admittedly we didn't meet but he responded immediately to every whatsapp message. There was no problem, not the slightest - location is a major asset, on a side street in the old town. It only took 2-3 minutes to be in the centre of Salerno life (shops, restaurants, bar, bakery, etc.). On the other hand, it's far enough away from the bars and nightlife that you can't hear too much and you can get a good night's sleep (the morning rubbish trucks snapped me out of sleep for a while - but that's the charm of any place in the city). - My idea was to have a separate sleeping area + separate kitchen and bathroom. As a result of being away all day I didn't need the comforts of a Hilton. - The living room is big enough for one or two people. The bed is very comfortable, the pillows very nice, large TV, plenty of storage space. There is also an express, capsules and some sweets. In addition, there is a small kitchenette with a fridge and a hob, should you want to prepare something quickly. The bathroom is small, as it is in Italy, but has everything you need. - The owner provides towels (including a change) and liquids: for bathing, washing and dishes. So if you are holidaying in Salerno and are away most of the day, for bathing, resting and sleeping the flat is almost ideal. Highly recommended.

As far as my needs were concerned, there were practically no downsides, but the following things must be taken into account: - Although there is a large window, it overlooks the interior of the townhouse, so there is not much sunlight. Another window is small and high up. There is also a window in the bathroom facing directly onto the street. There is no terrace or balcony. - There are many doors off the corridor and in the evening you can hear people coming in and out of the property. Also the lift can be heard. Of course, the later it gets, these sounds fade away and it is quiet at night. - The entrance to the shower and the location of the toilet mean that it can be a bit difficult for 'big' people to use (I am 186 cm and 98 kg and it was more or less ok).

It was not far from the main street, room was clean and cozy perfect for couple or solo travelers. It also has a small fridge if you want to keep some food. The host is very friendly and he is always ready to help you. Definitely recommended, I would like to visit again :)
