Comfort Heathrow Stay 5 Mins to the Terminal

Hello, the only thing I liked is: that it was my birthday! I really tried to make the best of it but it was hard to feel stranded.

I don't appreciate this property never picked me up. It was really cold outside. I made the reservation because i just wanted to rest.

This property was absolutely disgusting I have videos and photos of the external entrance which was a health and safety issue, breeze block, leaks, slippery floors, dirty. The inside was not much better, 1 room had the glass shower doors removed leaning up against the wall with a long metal bent pole alongside it. The bottom few rows of shower tiles missing also. I have tried to resolve directly with the provider but they initially ignored me, then said they can't refund as the room has already been used. However I raised the concerns @ 10.20am, prior to 11am check out so was technically still a resident there. I also explained that as we got there late and went back out for food, we were only able to take pics and videos later at night on our return. I'm disgusted with the property and the attitude of the person I communicated with. I asked for the details of a more senior person to escalate it to, but I have been ignored.

The whole experience.

The room was of a good standard. Instructions to enter the room were precise. Good interaction with the management company when we feared we had been scammed (cf. below). Roughly 10 minute drive to Heathrow terminal 5.

The check-in formalities are a bit unusual. It is described at the bottom of the booking.com-page, but we were in a hurry when booking (flight cancelled), so we hadn't seen it when it happened: You have to pay a security deposit and send a picture of a piece of identification, so I first feared I had been scammed - which I hadn't been, but it was an akward feeling. The hallway of the house where the room is located is a bit weird - an alarm is sounding constantly (thankfully our room was quite far away from it, so we weren't disturbed by the noise).

It was very difficult to find because the road numbers continue into inner blocks of flats, but this is not the case for all such blocks as most of them are numbered independently. The map that was sent to me on WhatsApp when I asked for help was useful but that should have been sent previously along with the other information. Although I had been warned of plumbing problems while I was travelling there, my room was not changed as informed. There was lots of water on the floor and I could not sleep because of the noise made by the dripping water. The room strongly smelled of damp.
