SUMAQ PUNUY HOSTEL - Lima Airport

If you want a bed for the night near the airport, this is great, quite cheap & has a kitchen if you want to cook, living room area & decent bathroom with hot shower . It’s about a 15 minute walk from the airport. If you want to avoid extortionate cab fairs, you could try hailing one from outside the airport for about 5 soles

Bit difficult to find if you don’t know where it is! Owner helpfully came outside to find us. The area is a bit like no man’s land, but didn’t feel dangerous

The location is a bit far away , the flat is really clean ! Staff is really nice

The accommodation is within walking distance to the airport. The hostess was super friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean, with comfortable beds, and a common area where we could watch our favorite show on Netflix before heading to the airport.

It was nice and close to Lima International Airport (only a 12 minute walk away), the beds were quite comfy and the rooms were very clean, the shared bathroom was also clean

Now I wouldn't say this is something I didn't like but its important to say, that this is not a hotel or a hostel, this is simply someones house with bedrooms with locks on them. If you don't mind staying in someone's house than fair enough but this wasn't the expectation I had. In terms of the things I didn't like: there was little facilities, the kitchen wasn't in the best state and if you're looking for food, groceries etc, its going to be a long way. You're also staying in Callao which isn't known for its safety. Its also incredibly loud at night, I can sleep though loud environments, but if you're someone who requires peace when you sleep this is definitely not for you.
