SUMAQ PUNUY HOSTEL - Lima Airport

Friendly, well-meaning staff. I didn't have enough cash (I was leaving Peru the following morning), and the guy let me do a direct transfer. Kitchen is decent.

Just taking some points off for the location - obviously not the hostels fault. I'm a 6'4 guy and never had any trouble travelling, it is only a ten minute walk from the airport, I have been to >50 countries and this are felt pretty sketchy, lots of big dogs, poorly lit and some dodgy characters around. Annoying that Uber was expensive for a 3 minute trip (for Peru). So I walked anyway. Probably get an uber at night though!

Really kind staff. Christian (I think his name is) was so warm and welcoming when I arrived. I had just missed a flight, it was the middle of the night, I had walked there in the dark which was a bit scary, and was in a bit of a mess. But his warmth was really appreciated. He came out to meet me on the street which was kind and a relief after an awful journey. Something as a solo traveller it’s those moments that make a massive difference. The next morning, Maria Luisa was so kind to me and walked me to the airport. We spoke in Spanglish and she didn’t mind walking with me even though it was 6am! Thank you both so much. I would highly recommend this place if you have a night where you need to stay near the airport. Homely and warm and clean. Perfect. Just be careful walking around the roundabout on the way there!

Nice place with great host. Clean and close to the airport. I use it twice and both times was satisfied.

It's *extremely* clean and the staff is super helpful. Modern, clean, nice!

Take ear plugs with you - it may be noisy.

Nice place with friendly staff. Good place to sleep before or after flight. Bed is long enough even for my 6’5, linen is clean, shower is clean as well.

Just one thing - Google map can’t find it. But, if you contact the stuff in WhatsApp, you will receive a map with rout and easily find it. It’s pretty close to airport and easy to find

Excellent stay! Comfortable bed, very clean, friendly staff, spacious shared rooms, nice and clean bathroom, Netflix. Awesome.

Walking distance from the airport. Good for an early flight. Several good priced restaurants nearby.

A bit difficult to find the place. It felt a bit unsafe to walk around after dark in this neighbourhood. Fine.in daylight. OK if taxis are used to and from the entrance door.
