Modern room old Town - Zadar

Nice and comfortable stay in city centre, for 2 adults and a child.

The host doesn't reply to emails, but answers the phone.

The location is awesome, everything in town is tops 5 min away. Konzum, food shopping, is just around the corner, and so is the market. Together they have everything you need for cooking at your home away from home. If you wish to not do that there are restaurants everywhere. There's is absolutly no noice from the street, it's generally quiet. Newly renovated and high standard. Quiet and well working AC. Spacious refrigerator and a electric kettle. Excellent shower (warm, high preasure). Host is responsive and helped out with requests in a timely manner, very nice and responsive once we were settled in. The balcony, door from the bathroom, overlooking a completely overgrown courtyard, was surprisingly nice to have breakfast on. Also provides clotheslines. I loved the balcony and the view. We even got a visit from a cat who climbed a tree an sat there looking at us. (never came to the balcony) Apartment felt safe, two locked apartment doors and code lock to stairwell. Generally made for easy living. Spacious enough. We realy liked the stay, thank you!

Most of this is nitpicking, but if they're important to you: The bed is on the soft side. Pillows are huge and as Swedes we had trouble sleeping on them so we had to ask for replacements (which they provided). Communication before checking in was sparse, we did not get any information on what floor it was (it was kind of 1 1/2) and at 16:00 we still haven't heard from them so I had to call them. More looking into the kitchenware would be nice. There are only one (1) tea spoon, no corkscrew/bottle opener. If we may wish for something beer glasses would be nice. No coffeemaker. There were three hangers in the wardrobe, that is not enough for dresses and shirts for one week. We found no instructions for AC, boiler etc. A few things in the apartment are making noice, sometimes waking others up at night (creaking sofa, quite loud floor boards, bathroom door and VERY loudly flushing toilet). But again, this is details even though it is a lot of text. The apartment is overall great.

The apartment was clean and perfectly located in the city center. Essential!

The apartment is very tiny but comfortable. I wouldn’t spend more than 2 nights. The bed sheets were very uncomfortable because they were roughy. At the entrance of the building there are the trash bin from the close restaurant that causes the entrance and the stairs of the building smell bad, specially when out is warm.

Sauber, sehr zentral, kontaktloser Zugang, gute Kommunikation, Baggage Store in der Nähe, ruhiges Haus...

Nice situation, very calm at night.

I had some problem to open the mosquito net.
