Malia Bay Beach Hotel & Bungalows

The food was amazing, the staff are all nice and kind, they work really hard for this hotel to keep on high level. The Manager is really kind, he upgrade my room without extra cost.

Great location, sandy beach at the doorstep, well kept pool area, grass area to relax on, delicious all- day snack bar, great variety of food in the restaurant, spacious & modern room and all staff very friendly.

That we couldn't stay a little longer.

I recently stayed at this seafront hotel and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, offering stunning ocean views and easy beach access. The hotel has been fully renovated, and the rooms are modern, spacious, and very comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant offers a diverse menu with delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each meal I had was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Overall, everything was fantastic—from the friendly staff to the excellent amenities. Highly recommended for a relaxing seaside getaway.

The rooms on the first floor smell musty. It cannot be ventilated. They have no windows, if you keep the doors open to ventilate, flies and mosquitoes come in. The locks are damaged and you cannot lock yourself.

- My bathroom had problem which was the water was flooding out and was not fixed during my stay - My safebox had problem but was not fixed during my stay, risking my personal stuff or cash - The reception was friendly but did not followed on my room's problems, I had to reach to them multiple times and eventually the last day they wanted to change my room with a one without view - The animation team was not active even on sunny days, there was not much activities going on despite the schedule announced in hotel board - The beach beds were all monetised preventing people using the beach, even on sunny days(we had 2 out of 4) there was nobody on beach since you had to pay 9 or 10 euros per bed to get sun on beach, a less crowded beach was not good in my idea.

The location was great. The fruit, baklava, and wine were a pleasant surprise.

we didn't like the fact that you had to pay to use the beach chairs and umbrellas.

It was a very bad experience for the money we paid! We had to pay to use the deckchairs at the hotel’s beach. Had to ask numerous times for them to clean our room. Had to use the same towel since the room was not cleaned everyday. The food was also not good. Expected way more! Overall it was not worth it.
