Hobbit - Cosy Holiday Lodge with Pool

Our second stay - just as good as the first. Great location, quiet area of the site, great hosts and welcome pack, cleanliness and comfort spot on. Had everything we need. Swimming pool a great feature as well as the entertainment on site. Thanks Robert and Pippa, we will be booking again.

Spotless lodge with everything you need and we were made to feel very welcome.when met by the owners. It's clearly very well cared for and everything is done to make your stay as comfortable as possible with lots of attention to detail. Lots to see and do in the beautiful local area and we would certainly love to visit again.

Not a dislike, more of an FYI - ithe lodge is sited on a large site currently undergoing extensive redevelopment and will be fabulous when finished. The site is on multiple levels and areas so has character and doesn't feel too big. However, whilst in a lovely position backing onto fields, as this lodge is on one of the lower levels, for us it was a car ride to get up to the main reception/pool/ bar etc near the top of the hill, so just something to bear in mind when booking if not as fit as you'd like to be! 😁

The homeliness of the place. Very clean and tidy. And cozy and the owners are lovely. We loved the welcoming pack.

Everything! Spotlessly clean, cosy, great location, nice modern decor, little extras thrown in eg tin foil, clingfilm, teabags, kitchen roll, coffee, sugar, plenty dvds, board games, first aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detector, plenty cleaning stuff, everything you need for cooking, glasses, cups, plates etc, iron with board, maiden, hairdryer, safe, plenty shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, had wash and blankets and bowls for the dogs. The bed was very comfy and we had plenty sleep whilst there. The lodge backs on to a field which is a nice view to wake up to and we saw a few wild animals on there, it is also situated in a peaceful cul de sac, really relaxing sitting on the decking and the neighbours were really friendly! Robert and Pippa were lovely hosts and very friendly giving advice on places to go etc. Will return in near future and have already recommended to several family members and friends. The Hobbit was the perfect little family getaway. Everything was new and clean, with plenty of cooking equipment. Internet was great and we also enjoyed using the dvd player. Beds were all comfy, heating & hot water was great too. My daughter enjoyed using the swimming pool and little arcade, we were pleased it was open despite being low season, excellent stay all round.

We liked everything.

Lovely comfortable mobile home, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Great welcome pack which was very unexpected. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you for letting us stay.

The layout was great, it was comfortable enough for us and the beds was amazing, it was relaxing and really enjoyable

Amazing hosts Robert gave us lots of useful info and places to visit.Lovely welcome pack .The Lodge was very warm and cosy very comfy beds ,sofas and all you need for home from home..The weather was not good rained all week and very windy at times but shall return to Hobbit nearer the summer.Lots to see and explore.Looking forward to return.
