No air condition, it’s too hot in summer

Delightful knowledgeable hosts who gave great advice to find what I was looking for beyond the normal tourist attractions. Delicious home cooked breakfast. A truly authentic heritage home stay experience- highly recommended.

Beautiful little oasis within 10 minutes of all the major sites of Central Mysore. We were really well looked after by our charming hosts Sanjay and Viju - happy to chat but didn't push conversation on us, and a varied and delicious local breakfast on the verandah. Large room and bathroom, spotlessly clean.

The bed was firm - we really liked it, but it may not be ideal for all. But no criticisms from us!

WiFi signal not good in bedroom; no A/C available; some environmental noise at night but not overly disturbing

A must-stay when in Mysuru! This heritage stay is very well-maintained with comfortable and clean rooms with a touch of indo-colonial style that echo the beauty of the past despite being centrally located and close to all major tourist points. It's the perfect blend of calm and convenience. And, to top that, they serve delicious organic traditional South Indian delicacies as complimentary breakfast, in alfresco dining set up under the morning sun. Also, if you are a pet lover and are lucky, you might just get to meet Govinda and Shiva, the cutest furry hosts (a golden retriever and german shepherd, respectively), frolicking around the huge lawn in front of the property. However, they are NOT PET FRIENDLY yet.

While the beautiful rooms, location & scrumptious food makes Home stay Heritage, Hampes, a great choice for a long weekend or more, a few mild hospitality hiccups limit its potential of becoming a truly memorable experience. Run by an elderly host, who although is warm and welcoming and a treasure trove of knowledge, but comes with occasional bouts of mildly rude tone. There is a thin line between being frank and blunt, and that is especially important to maintain in hospitality, which momentarily gets missed, leaving guests confused about the unwarranted tactlessness. Although the property sometimes has two in-house pets, Govinda & Shiva, its also not pet-friendly yet.

Wonderful most unique proper heritage homestay in the middle of a garden with banana and jackfruit trees. Very nice and helpful hosts. Delicious homemade food.

Perfect place to explore Mysore. Owner Suresh ji is amazing , gives you best tips for mysore. Excellent host , always ready to help . Property has been restored beautifully and still going. Breakfast was delicious and served outside in the courtyard among tall trees, which reminds me of colonial times , Great !!. Hearitage Home is perfectly located, close to all major attractions and amenities too!

Soap size in the bathroom was bit Small !! ( fussy am i ?)
