Casa Del Artista , Boutique Apartments, Whitby

Thanks so much to our hosts, they have been so helpful with any enquiries. Excellent location within a short (but steep) walk to everything. Lovely fittings and fixtures in the ground floor accommodation, very spacious too. Little extra touches were provided such as toiletries, tea, coffee etc, and all of top quality. Clean throughout, and a very well appointed kitchen. Beds exceptionally comfy. Thoroughly recommendz and thanks again to Casa del Artista

Hard to say but an odd cobweb or two and a couple of chips on wallpaper. Absolutely is not even worth bringing up, this is fantastic accommodation.

The hosts were exceptionally responsive to our questions and also to a couple of minor maintenance issues we brought up. Always a good sign when they care and respond quickly! Great hot water and wonderful shower, large and efficient kitchen which had pretty much all you need to make simple meals. It is a LARGE apartment so plenty of room to lounge on the comfy couches and the primary bedroom is enormous! Plenty of space to unpack and horizontal surfaces for your stuff. Very comfortable bed and the location is very quiet. Solid WIFI, too. It is a reasonable walk to-and-from the station and the shops, and the top of the cliff is a hop and a skip away for lovely views and walking to Sandsend, which we highly recommend among several other great walks along the coastal path.

The coffee machine is a bit of an off brand and pods for it are not plentiful. COOP ran out of the Americano pods, which make a good black coffee, and only had the cappuccino ones. I’d recommend, as a rather particular consumer of coffee, a Nespresso machine instead. Starbucks compatible capsules are readily available.

Very nicely furnished, newly fitted kitchen, nice view across rooftops to the hills. All in great condition, clean and comfortable. Owner responded very quickly when we had a small issue with the keypad entry. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in Whitby.

Really good location, and easy just to walk around and enjoy Whitby.

The Loft Apartment was perfect - stairs up were steep but we were warned. The location was ideal for a weekend away.
