Casa Del Artista , Boutique Apartments, Whitby

We liked the location between the main part of town and the beach. The hosts emphasised that it is a small apartment but it was perfect for us for a couple of nights. The bedroom IS small, but the bed was comfy, and the little lounge means there's plenty of living space. We enjoyed our stay.

A nice large clean apartment. Good communication about the stay we didn't meet the host but Tea, coffee, and milk were left for us. Comfy beds and a great shower. All towels and shower gels are in the apartment as well as tea towels dish cloths and washing up liquid. Great kitchen a home from home.

Very large windows in the living room could do with privacy film halfway up but that is ne being picky.

The location was perfect. easy to get into town and also near to West Cliff. It had everything we needed and the hostess very helpful and responded to queries quickly .

The only downside was the steep stairs up to the third floor, but we are getting on in years now, so would have been better in one of the apartments on a lower floor .

Location great. Comfortable homely flat.

Pictures on site a bit dated. Could do with a refresh. Cleaning materials such as dust pan and brush would be useful

We really enjoyed the location and decor of the apartment. We stayed in the penthouse in the roof and it was spacious and comfortable. You’re close to everything (station, harbour, arcades, cafes and restaurants). The shower is the showstopper as it’s powerful, modern and easy to regulate. Having a washing machine was so helpful and the fridge/freezer is a good size. We like the options on the TV. Netflix, Disney+ and more.

The bed isn’t for everyone. I found it a little uncomfortable. My hubby found it fine. We were made aware of the steep stairs and we were fine with it. The team were totally transparent. Be prepared that the stairs to this apartment are steep and I mean steep. It felt like climbing a ladder.
