Small room /cracked tiles in bathroom

Cute touch with the slippers

Thick fluffy sheets in summer!, tiny very stuffy room which would have benefited from a fan with the weather being so warm. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable night to the point we cancelled our plans for the following day and left to come home eay to get some sleep.

The room was a decent size and cleanliness for a one night stay.

It was was incredibly hot in the room. The day and outside temperatures on this day were incredibly hot so I appreciate that this would impact the room. There was no means of cooling and we subsequently decided we couldn't stay so left the room and went home.

Location was great at the bottom of steep hill, little car park opposite that only charged £10 for 24 hours. Easy access using the door codes provided. Great location for attending events at the castle.

The property is advertised as having air conditioning but it hasn’t. It was far too hot and we purposely booked accommodation with air conditioning in case the weather was warm. The sash windows open but it was that hot no air was coming in, there is a car park opposite and banging and noise was constant all night long - made worse at 6am when people started arriving in the car park to set up whatever events are on today. The furry bed sheet is awful and definitely not is what needed in the summer. We didn’t get in the bed, none of us got any sleep and we left early in the morning as we couldn’t stand it any longer. Can’t comment on the shower as I never used it as just wanted to get out of there.

Property had everything I needed. Hot shower, a basic breakfast was provided. Very central. I didn’t see any staff but they contacted me by email. Easy to enter with smart lock. 😀 Basic but that was fine. It had everything I needed. Thankyou.
