Great communication with the host, Abbey was able to help me with any issues I had (including finding a local taxi firm). The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable!

Lovely size room , very comfortable , the bathroom is lovely ! Great shower with lovely shampoo , conditioner & shower gel to use . The bed was huge & super comfy , tea & coffee facilities as well as yummy luxury biscuits . Sofa in the room so we didn’t have to sit on the bed all the time which was great , loved the lamps in the room it made it cosy . The house was lovely, very clean and homely , we felt really comfortable . Easy to find , easy parking , lovely dairy farm up the road selling fresh milkshakes , ice cream & cakes . Pub across the road had great food & friendly staff . Abbey was a fantastic host , nothing was to much trouble , quick responses to any messages . Lots of local flyers in the room , we visited monkey forest & the dairy farm both we found from the flyers and were brilliant additions to our trip ! We will defo stay again next time we go to Alton towers .

We stayed the night before heading to Alton Towers. Communication with Abbey was great. The room was spotless clean, and very big. The bed was very comfortable.

I don’t think the place is suitable for people with sensory sensitivities. There is a lot of traffic noise, and when big vehicles passed by, the room trembled. If you aren’t bothered by these things, the place is great.

The accomodation was clean and well presented, it had all you needed for a short stay. Comfortable with a great shower , could not really complain Good location only 15 minutes from Alton Towers

The local pub opposite, very dirty , in fact so much so that we were not comfortable eating there, they need to clean. Otherwise nothing else

Very clean and cosy room. Easy and clear instructions for accessing the key, and great price and location for a trip to Alton Towers or the Peak District.

Maybe this is out of your control but there was some dirty food in the kitchen sink when we arrived that was still there the next morning. Also, a hook on the bathroom door might be useful.

We stayed here last night before Alton Towers today. Beautiful house! Very cozy and clean! Abbey was very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area!
