Quieter location but only 7 minutes’ walk to the beach. The pool is nice and breakfast is decent enough. But we were in the villa which needs some TLC. Towels are very old, sockets were loose and the bathrooms not particularly clean.

Great pool. Room was fairly clean although the bathroom wasn’t great and the sink blocked. Breakfast was pretty good

Owner was very nice, friendly and talkative. The curly haired member of staff was lazy, disinterested, unhelpful and frankly rude Everyone else were great

Booked the triple room for me and my wife for the extra space as double room was too small. Was comfortable space. Food was pretty good compared to other hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka.

Some of staff were very rude, and yelled at my wife. Upon checking in we wanted to settle the booking payment. They said the card machine was broken and should be in working order the following day so they said its ok to pay upon checking out, noting that we have informed them clearly that the last day we will be leaving at 4 am. So they agreed it can be charged half day (but they did not in the end). Out of responsibility on the last day we went around 7pm to the office to settle our bills and discovered that the card machine is still not working and we weren't informed about. When we reminded them of initial discussion the duty manager blatantly denied everything and shouted at my wife. They were disrespectful and rude. The room was said to have a garden view where it was barely a tree from the balcony. There was constructions in the hotel and near hotel that starting very early in the morning. In the end, couldn't wait to leave this place to be honest, they were very disrespectful and didn't even apologise. Really soured our experience of Sri Lanka and did not meet standard or reasonable hospitality expectations. They could have updated the payment terms on booking.com to say it is CASH Only or at least proactively given us notice a day or two before we leave that the card machine still wasn’t work. Balcony glass was broken (balcony is shared with other rooms). TV did work well and no channels. Light switches falling off. Faulty card holder on wall for room power so lights kept turning off - we had to wedge tissues to keep it stable and power on in room. Got very judgemental looks and comments when returned to hotel late at night.

Very quiet place, a bit far from the main road, but not a problem for me. About 7’ walking to the beach ( which is the best beach I’ve seen in Sri Lanka ) Room & bathroom are big Bed was comfortable Breakfast was ok

Not clean The bathroom needs full renovation, is covered in mould Towel had yellow stains

Good location just back from the main drag, great pool close enough to the beach and amenities. The young (maybe manager?) was so attentive and lovely throughout the whole stay.
