De Trafford Arms by Chef & Brewer Collection

The down stairs didn't match with th upstairs. The room we were given was room 30 , looking out onto the main road. The curtains were way to thin, It still felt like day time with them closed . The bathroom room was riddled with black mould around the window but the biggest issue was the toilet seat was not connected properly and I nearly broke my back the first time I used it. The cold taps wouldn't turn off properly. The food .....what can I say ..4 out of 10 being very generous. Very disappointed.

Fantastic staff, food was great and location was perfect.

My bathroom had mould on the ceiling, there was black mould in the shower and the bedside table was covered in dust. The paint had been slapped on the walls with grey brush marks across the otherwise white walls.

Location lovely cosy . Good food and staff friendly.

Our room had one functional plug for our iPhone to charge other plugs available but couldn’t use. Did mention on leaving.

It was even better than expected. I loved the ambience, the food was excellent, the room was very clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. Staff were lovely. The hotel is in a very good location. Only for the unexpected start of a very high temperature heatwave, which for us was too high for walking about, the hotel is in the perfect location to explore the wonderful Cheshire plains, the Peak District and Manchester. Jodrell Bank Observatory is just minutes away. I can highly recommend.
