friendly senior lady who greeted us like lost friends. location is excellent, nice clean room, good parking space. If we lived in the area this would be our local pub.

Noisy neighbors arguing kept us awake at 3am, but not the hotels fault just inconsiderate people.

Stayed here before, great location and a lovely hotel offering everything, bar, food, comfort and close proximity to everything Alderley Edge has to offer.

Location and value for money

Bedrooms a little tired

The location is perfect . The bar and restaurant were very comfortable with a good atmosphere and lovely and warm on a cold wet day. We had an evening meal which was delicious & lovely wine which was not over priced. The Staff are very friendly and welcoming.The service in the restaurant was very good . We were served by a very friendly waiter. The breakfast was very good with a choice of the usual cereals, pastries, fruit & yogurt. We had a full breakfast which was cooked very well with good quality bacon and sausages .

The room was very tired . The heating did not work . There were only 2 sockets in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and the springs made very loud noises when you turned over.

My room was a good size , but the bathroom was small. The staff were lovely promt and efficient Breakfast was lively and I am a smoked salmon and poached egg person. Full English looked good. Including continental. The standard of cleanliness is very good. The building is full of character and old world charm.. Location perfect. Reasonably priced for the area. I will use again in the future.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night at 2.41. It was shrill.
