Royal Domus Perugia - via Mazzini

Location was great - in the middle of everything we wanted to see/do/eat for the inner/old city. The apartment is large with a great common area, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen. The building door is very substantial and can be remotely opened by the host or opened with the provided key. The apartment entry door is substantial and securely locks behind you~20 minute with a deadbolt lock optional using the key. WiFi connectivity in the apartment was good with instructions provided. The host was very responsive to text (WhatsApp) and phone calls.

The apartment is on the top floor and there are 5 flights of stairs (~100 steps), with no elevator - a challenge for suitcases. The shower in primary bedroom was never warm and usually cold with very low pressure - apparently a new/unknown issue. We reported this to the host and it will be addressed - monetary compensation was provided by the host, which was appreciated. The shared shower was tiny and this shower head spray was not uniform. The second bedroom had no closet or mirror and a small window. We had a car and there is no local parking available (understandable). The host kindly provided us with 3 recommended parking locations. 2 locations were ~20 Euro/day with 300 foot vertical elevation change - assisted by escalators and elevators. 1 location was free, but required a ~20 minute min-metro ride (1.5 E each person, each way).

Location is exceptional, with restaurants and shops at your doorsteps. And the host is very welcoming and helpful

Nicola was a very pleasant host. He was extremely helpful and prompt when responding to our messages and questions. He even found us within a couple of minutes when we got lost in a nearby piazza.

Perfect location, beautiful appartment with everything what you can need. Nicola was very friendly and helpful. If we will visit Perugia again, we will choose this appartment for sure

The location is excellent. It's lively during the day and quiet at night. It's easily accessible to everything that matters: beautiful Perugia center, historical locations, good food and drinks.

The apartment is on the top floor, which affords it beautiful light, but the stairs can be a lot given that there is no elevator. Advance warning about the stairs is useful so that one knows what to expect.

Great location, very central for historic Perugia and right next door to the famous Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria.

Everything. This apartment is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, comfortable and perfectly located.

Not one thing. The apartment is perfect. The only word of caution is that it does require the ability to walk up a large number of stairs.

Everything! This is a wonderful place to stay, great location, beautiful spacious apartment with everything you need. The hosts are lovely and checked in to see if we needed anything. It's also quiet for sleeping, the beds were comfortable and we loved our time there.

Nothing. There is no lift but the stairs are easy enough and keep you fit and our host Nicola helped with our cases.
