The décor was appalling and I had druggies staying above me

Out of the way but close enough, nice little hotel quiet the owners is nice can't fault it for the price

the room and bedding smell of urine and the doors are knocking all night from the wind, the size of the room is ok but the cleanliness is unfortunately tragic

Relatively cheap; comfortable bed; guy was friendly; very short notice booking dealt with well

Pretty dirty room, sink full of paint or something and chest of drawers had chips in- as in the food. front door has no handle, ceiling covered in floor tiles and wallpaper for some reason. Shared toilet facilities wouldn't be a first choice but the toilet locks so not so bad. You also have to phone up to get into the building which is kinda weird

The bed was pretty comfy.

I've stayed in some dives, after all we're only looking for somewhere to get our head down after a skin full of Sambuca and strongbow. But this takes the award for diviest dive ever. The smell, the mould, the shared bathroom door that didn't close, the fact there was no toilet roll and pee all over the floor in the toilet, the screaming of the word 'n*nce' coming from the room next door. Dodgy electrics, polystyrene ceiling (huge fire hazard) Jewel of the Sea is a pretty far fetched name for such a dive.

Bunk beds ! And not ensuite !
