The location was perfect, the aesthetic was stunning, and the rooftop was a definite highlight

I wanted to share some feedback following our recent stay. This was our second time at the Nobis Hotel, and we had chosen it again because we previously had such a wonderful experience. This time, however, we were left a bit disheartened. We had requested an early check-in several times ahead of our arrival, as this was a very special weekend for us—my engagement. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we weren’t accommodated, which meant we had to change in the lobby and prepare using public facilities. Given the occasion, this was quite disappointing and dampened the start of what should have been a memorable day. A little extra care or flexibility in this case would have meant a lot. i booked a suit(001), which I feel should come with a note of caution—it’s located directly opposite the restaurant and was quite noisy in the evening, making it difficult to fully relax. Additionally, the room service did not meet our expectations. The monkfish curry was unfortunately rubbery, and the burgers were undercooked. Given the standards we’ve come to expect from the Nobis, this was surprising. I chose not to raise these concerns during our stay, as I didn’t want to cast a shadow over what was a deeply personal and meaningful occasion. But I felt it was important to share this feedback with you afterwards. We had such high hopes for this stay, especially after our previous visit, and I’m quite saddened by how things turned out.

The hotel has an excellent location, right in the heart of the city, and the design is beautiful with a stylish and modern touch throughout the property.

Our stay was not as comfortable as we had hoped. We booked a Deluxe room, which is supposed to be an upgraded version, but the space was extremely small—we couldn’t even keep our suitcase open anywhere in the room. Even more problematic, the soundproofing is almost nonexistent. The walls are so thin that we could hear every little noise from the neighboring rooms, including something as small as a suitcase zipper being closed. This made it impossible to get proper rest during both nights of our stay. Overall, while the aesthetics and location are great, the lack of space and sound insulation significantly affected our experience.
