Great value for money, clean rooms with AC and close to the airport

My only gripe is staff being weird about my ID, I'm not an Indian national and they didn't accept my passport alone for ID and wanted something to prove my ties with India. Fortunately I do have an OCI and adhaar card but I wonder what they expect of someone with zero ties to India, with it being so close to the airport they are likely to get foreign tourists. Also the details should be updated, it's Hotel Shahi Palace and the address provided by booking.com is not correct.

"Good value for money"

Good hotel for the money we paid. Staff were so helpful and friendly, helped arrange currency exchange and taxis for us. Ideal location if needed to bear to airport.

Shower temperature was temprimental and kept going cold.
