The Kent- Luxury Rooms

The location was ideal for me, however, due to the incompetent staff who manage this accommodation I was left stranded outside one night.

The staff managing this property are un-organized, forgetful and the bed is extremely uncomfortable despite the otherwise good condition of the rooms. I was left stranded outside as they changed the code one night, I had to pay for another hotel and NCP parking (for which I am still waiting them to reimburse me for 3 weeks on…). Overall quite unhappy

The house location and proximity from bus stops makes this a amazing place to stay if you are in Manchester for tourism or even business. The area is full of restaurants that stays open until late night, closer to the university (20 min walking max) if you are here for any academic affair. The kitchen is very well equiped and have averything that you need to cook, also the room is very ok for 2 and we could enjoy a good sleep since our room had a very calm backyard view.

Kitchen could have kitchen paper or anything we could dry our hands instead of one of our towels and could have some ammenities like salt and pepper for cooking (if you are comming to stay short periods doesn´t make sens to buy this kind of stuff to cook) Our room was bathroom shared, however the pics on the site seemed to be a non-shared bathroom. Althought the house was super clean, the bathrooms lit were not cleaned during our stay period (Wed-Sun). Maybe we weren´t lucky to have it cleaned, but it really bothered us.

Everything was amazing! The room which I did stay was very clean, modern and comfy! Lighting is very good- especially if you like warm light. Bathroom got good size and everything looks like new and clean. Kitchen area very spacious. One of best house staying in Manchester area.

The newness and cleanliness of the property. It's proximity to University of Manchester

The fact that it is a shared accommodation does imply that the pleasantness of one's stay depends on the tolerance or lack thereof of fellow guests. The property should stock some basic household items like salt, sugars and peppers. Cleaning items like wipes, air fresheners, cleaning agents should be provided for shared facilities to enable guests clean up after themselves.

I had a pleasant stay overall. The place was clean, conveniently located, and easily accessible.

However, during my 3-night stay, I frequently or easily overheard loud conversations from the neighboring room, which were quite distracting and went on until midnight. If you’re looking for a quiet stay, this might be something to keep in mind.

How new and clean everything was

The door panel was faulty but I was quickly helped out and things were resolved.

The house is very clean and spacious. Everything is perfect.

Good location, easy 20 minutes walk into city centre and also 5 minutes walk to the curry mile. Good that it has parking also. The bed was super comfy as were the pillows.

The bathroom wasn't great with cleanliness on arrival, but I guess that's what comes from a shared bathroom. Also, there was only one roll of toilet roll which didn't suffice with sharing the bathroom with no spares present. There was shampoo and conditioner but unfortunately the shower gel was out. There was a little issue with hot water the second morning, but that may have been due to the couple in the other room taking a while in the shower, as by the evening it was back to being warm. And finally, there was a few miscellaneous and questionable hairs in/on the bedding but easy enough to pick and get rid of! All in all, a good stay for the price paid.
