The New Inn

Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Spacious room and nothing to fault. We had drinks in the bar and the locals were friendly and entertaining, staff attentive and the beer was excellent. Excellent value for the price.

Had to wait until 4pm to get in And breakfast wasn't served until 9.30 which was no good for us as we need to leave at 9.

A lovely old inn, with beams and historic features The bedroom was large, and well decorated, wooden furniture with on-suite. The bar and restaurant areas had a friendly atmosphere with plenty of space.

The breakfast was delicious and Thornton in the dales is a lovely village

The food was excellent,great value for money. Location was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable

Paid for upgrade we didn't get. Very noisey, resident dog is always barking. 2nd night we were kept awake until 3am by staff shouting and being noisey and woken at 8am on Sunday morning

Good Beer, excellent food and the room was very comfortable. The staff could not have done any more for you, they were fantastic. A very good place to stay.

Had a lovely meal on the night of our arrival and then had the full English breakfast the following morning.

TV in the room wouldn't work, could have been my fault?

Excellent location and food. Good parking, Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere from staff and locals. We have stayed at the New Inn a few times in the past 12 months and this was by far the best stay we have had. New landords/lady have made great efforts to improve the overall experience, cleanliness and quality of food. Highly recommended as a place to stay close to all Thornton Le Dale has to offer.
