location is superb and the facility is clean and functional. close to the center and all restaurants and a grocery store right next door.

there is some noice from the street in the evenings. so if you intend to go to bed early, you should choose something else. it gets quite around midnight.

The property had lots of old world atmosphere and charm but has been updated with modern fittings. The location is fabulous if you like to be in the centre of an old city. There is a large "market" very close by which sells everything you might need food wise, on the floor above a there is a huge range of eating outlets from around the world. These are either to take away or eat in the market and are very reasonable in cost.

There are two sofa beds, one of which we used as a sofa and the other as a bed. Neither were super comfortable. We stayed over New Year so are not complaining about the noise but warning guests to bring ear plugs with them if they are light sleepers. You are staying in a city centre where noise travels. The hob had a crack in it which may be why we couldn't get it to heat up very well. It would be nice to have a guest book to tell you how things work etc. The headline rate for the propety is significantly inflated by taxes etc which get added after pressing the book propety key. I haven't come across this when using Booking.com before.

You need to use internet platform with card number for the deposit. Not sure 100% safe.

Very central location and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and some excellent coffee shops within a few minutes walking distance and there are a bunch of museums that are accessible with a short walk. I was only there for 2 nights so I wasn't using the kitchen facilities but I did appreciate the centrality of the location for eating, general wandering and visiting the harbour to get the ferry to the Three Cities.

Unlike other booking.com properties that I have stayed with this appears to be managed via a company. I did not find communication as personable as I have done with other properties. In addition it was said that I needed to be at the property for an exact time to check in which is difficult when travelling from a different island. I managed to do this and then the check in assistant was late (admittedly only 10 minutes late but as I understood that I had to be there for the exact time I stated I felt the assistant should also have been there for that time). She had poor English and when I asked if I could drink the tap water she looked in the fridge and then said No. I pointed to the tap and she seemed to understand and said No but when I googled later if the tap water in valletta is drinkable all answers indicated yes. I still don't know if the water was okay to drink or not (obviously I wasn't going to risk it). Of the three properties that I stayed in during my holiday this is the only one that didn't have any water available for me to drink on my arrival. Due to the property being so central it is a little noisy as it is surrounded by restaurants but to be honest I think noise is part & parcel of staying in central Valletta and it was restaurant noise rather than late night clubs!

Excellent location, good shower.

The aircon was very noisy and didn't seem to cool so we just used the fans. The stools were too high for the breakfast bar so made it difficult to sit and eat. There were no wine glasses, only one beer glass but lots of shot glasses. The bathroom was very cramped as the door opened inwards, the washing machine was behind the door, there wasn't much space between the toilet and the basin. The towels had seen better days and the bath towels were the small size ones. The sheets were too small for the bed.

Spacious nicely furbished flat in perfect location. Very good communication whenever we needed something.

central location

Above a bar and several restaurants so very noisy. One window didn’t close so we had street noise and mosquitoes. No change of towels and sheets after 9 nights.

Beautifully designed apartment with a traditional Maltese balcony. Perfect central location, with lot of restaurants and coffees nearby, as well as a supermarket, 10 minutes' walk to the main bus station. Very clean, with comfortable bed and equipped kitchen.

Ventilation of a nearby fish restaurant blows directly to the entrance of the building.
