Kampala Forest Resort - KFR Lodge

The area of Muyenga Tank Hill is very safe to walk, a lot of green, and lovely people. With swimming pools, quiz nights, and a bustling Muyenga Rd around, it falls nothing short of the perfect location for your stay in Kampala. The staff at Kampala Forest Resort is attentive, very helpful and makes you feel so welcomed.

Agnes at reception is so lovely. She Made check in so easy. The views from the sitting area were absolutely breathtaking. Lovely vibes bright coloured cushions. Small children’s park a lovely addition Lots of inspiration and investment opportunities during our evening walks.

Furnishing quite dull. The rugs in the room!!!!! Too old and need changing. Such a beautiful entrance door but there was a Missing glass square into door handle. Safety?😳

Rooms not clean, no extra bedsheets, no extra water in a family room, breakfast was only included for 3 out of 5 family members, had to wait very long for breakfast.... And too expensive for the service and room given.

The ambience was great.

The floor rugs were kept dirty, and the lighting in the bathroom was too dim to shave.

Very nice location on top of a hill with big trees and a nice view on the lake. Nice place away from polluted air and the noise from the city centre. The room was not very spacious, but big enough for me. I liked the food offered in the restaurant.

The bar is playing quite loud music up to midnight. If you want to go to sleep early, bring ear plugs. The shower didn't have warm water on the days when I was there, but maybe that was a temporary issue.

Easy accessibility, very friendly/ helpful staff. I would highly reccomend this place, even to those travelling with kids.
