Room was very dated, The breakfast cups plates and saucers many were dirty and the staff seem oblivious too the amount that were unusable and cast aside

Breakfast was fine, pool was nice although dated and sauna didn’t work, room was okay but needs refreshing, we also moved due to an electrical fault but staff were professional and helped us move smoothly. Perfect location and clean.

Rooms were tired and need redecorating. Exit / entrance to outdoor seating was weird or not signed well.

Room was lovely, bed comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Lovely surroundings near the water and not far from the lake etc. The spa facilites were ok, sauna out of use because of broken door and steam room available but very small. We ate dinner there, smalll choice and food was nice. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. Not the most exceptional hotel but definitely a good stay and pleasant overall, no big complaints.

Sauna wasn't available and steam room was small for only a few people. Could have been more choice for dinner but overall no big complaints.

The room we were allocated was on the ground floor, best described as a dungeon.It was dark, and poorly lit, not nice at all as was very small. Not a £120 a night room was my feeling when I opened the door. So then we unpacked and needed a shower after a long drive and there was no hot water, so when we enquired about this, we were moved to another room that was a lot nicer, but still no hot water! They did call for an 'engineer' and it was hot much later in the evening

Dark first room and no hot water for showers etc. Dolly Blue onsite pub advertised on website as Steak night on a Thursday was closed, again disappointed as we were looking forward to this during our stay. Food available at hotel lounge bar but lacked any atmosphere. The hotel is very tired and could benefit from a refurb. Wouldn't book again here.

The location was great and the rooms were large. Breakfast was also very good.

The furniture in the room is incredibly old and not well maintained. The service is also bad. The room was not serviced during our stay, which is a massive no-no. The cleanliness of the hotel in general is not good. The restaurant is very over-priced.
