Stelde via WhatsApp voor me op te halen van het vliegveld en rekende er later 15 euro voor. Dit terwijl zijn aanbod klonk van ik ben toch in de buurt laat me je oppikken.

Accomoadation is close to the airport but they are scammers.

When i booked they said that airport transfer is included in the price and i booked a private room. When i arrived the owner asked me to go to his apartment where he forced me to pay 20€ more than said on booking. He said for the transfer and when i said i can also take an uber he said i cannot because i already requested that he drives me to the airport. When i said i do not want to pay 20€ extra he started to be angry. It was a scary situation and my phone was not picking up any signal in his apartment. Because i felt unsafe i agreed under the circumstances that he gives me an invoice. He agreed but made me pay first, said he’ll print the invoice once i paid. I never got the invoice, not even in the morning when i asked him for the 4th time for the invoice. He said he’ll send it to me on whatsapp later (i had an early morning flight) but blocked me on after i left. There are no bed covers on the bed and no towel. If you want either you have to pay?!? The showerhead in the shower is ziptied to the wall so you can not move it. It felt like a prison not a hotel/hostel. I got a shared room and they did not give me a key to the room so we slept unlocked. The “accomodation” is just a regular apartment in a residential building that they created multiple bedrooms with multiple beds int he rooms. There was also no furniture beside the bed so i had to leave all my things on the floor. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. THIS WAS THE ONLY TIME IN MADEIRA I FELT UNSAFE.
