Windsor Cottage: Cosy, Charming, Full of Character

Wonderful little cottage. Well appointed. Warm, comfy, good use of room, quiet.

Not much. Carparking is tight but were never short.

The host Ann was always available for questions. I felt very supported before and after our stay. Checkin with easy and simple.

To be honest, not much to add here. Perhaps, if you are going to have small children or toddlers stay, then a safety gate at the top of the stairs might be a good idea as it is very steep. Perhaps a night lamp on both sides of the bed? but these are minor details.

The property was very homely and loved from the owners so you felt at home immediately.

Maybe 2 front door keys instead of 1. An earlier check in time would be appreciated or opportunity to store bags at property whilst cleaners in situ from 11am to 3pm. Some milk would also be great along with the treat box already left for tea/coffee.

It was clean, well thought out, central to amenities.

Cosy ,clean and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches and everything you needed for a great trip. A real home from home.

Spiral staircase could be a bit of a challenge

Loved the location..perfect. Cottage was clean and tidy with everything you needed. Ann was always very quick to answer any questions.

All good but My 81 year old mum found the staircase a little dfficult and having to go into the other bedroom to use the ensuite toilet during the night but managed well. That was our problem not the property.
