Cosy modern cottage by the sea, heart of snowdonia

We loved the location, the fact that it had parking right outside, the size of the property was bigger than it looked in the photos, the log burner was lovely, the bedding used on the double bed was exceptionally soft. A lovely place and we would love to stay again! It had everything you could possibly need.

If I was going to nitpick anything, a 3 person sofa would be nice as the two of us struggled to properly cuddle up on the 2 person one but that’s a purely personal preference! Also a note for anybody who also has an electric vehicle - plan your routes well as the nearest bay of fast speed chargers was about 38 miles away. This of course is absolutely no fault of the hosts whatsoever, just something to note if you car doesn’t have great range like ours! The drives are beautiful and scenic though so it wasn’t a gripe at all.

The Cottage was really nice, cosy and had good facilities. The beds were really comfortable and it was such a quiet location with a short walk to the beach.

The property already had guests who although their booking was mistakenly made for next year had been sent the access details, a booking.com issue I think. Pets were not allowed upstairs but the stairs were open plan with no stair gate.

Comfy bed. Every facility we needed. Parking. Very quiet. Beach close by

Local pub was closed permanently we had to travel 5 miles to eat out

The location is in a pretty quiet village, cottage was very rustic and generally clean, kitchen had everything you needed apart from the tumble dryer that was in the list of appliances, but that wasn’t a problem Welcome pack consisted of sachets of coffee and sugar, remember to take milk and food if arriving late We travelled to Barmouth for supplies where there is a co op and Iceland plus lots of other shops The double bed was comfortable

Tap in the kitchen was very loose and you needed to hold the base when turning it on or off Nothing to do with the cottage,but people with dogs that can’t be bothered to pick up their mess really annoy me,the village has poo bag dispensers scattered all over, so there really is no need to not pick it up and keep the village clean

Loved thd location, walking down the lane to the little beach was fabulous. The cottage had everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean.

What a beautiful break away. Cottage was perfect in every way - lovely and cosy. Super clean. Lots of space. Excellent location, 5 min walk from the train station. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
