Not 'beach front' as described it's 10 mins walk following a little stream over train tracks we were expecting some sea views but you're surrounded by other cottages Wall around the oil container outside had collapsed and didn't look very welcoming Door lock very tricky to open Log burner but no logs supplied... empty baskets for logs and kindling local shop charged us £14 No blind or curtain at the kitchen window Not blackout blind on velux in bedroom Mold on blind in bathroom and window Not obvious which were the bins for the cottage Heating set to 17° but needed to be higher in December

Quirky little cottage, with beautiful walks to the beach close by! Plenty of character and super cosy! The fireplace is stunning and was the perfect spot to relax after a busy few weeks at work.. We loved our stay and hope to stay again soon 😊

The front door can be a little tricky to lock/unlock - but we got the hang of it..

Great locations, comfy and cosy, lovely Inglenook fireplace. Bed extremely comfy - one of the best we’ve slept on in a holiday cottage, pillows included. Battenberg cake was a great touch. Quiet and peaceful, just what you want after a hectic week at work! Our dog loved cosying up to the fire and having the blanket for the sofa was great for us. Really liked having the tv in the bedroom too, great touch. Water pressure fantastic and the shower over the bath was easy to use and piping hot. Great to have the private parking space outside! Fantastic walk to the beautiful beach, the village is superb with a very well stocked village shop. The local pub is now back open too so you have everything you need in a 2 minute walk. The villagers were so lovely and invited us to the Xmas market at the village hall next door - so kind! Also the poo bags distributed around the village, so thoughtful. Only a 15 minute drive to Tywyn where we got our takeaways - no problem driving at all.

These are minor points: Couldn’t find a dish cloth in the kitchen - could be user error but would be great to have one. Blind on velux in bedroom not black out so woke up with the dawn. Outside light in the porch area would be great on a sensor (can turn it on from the inside) as we arrived in the dark and using the lock was difficult. What appears to be black mould around the bathroom window and on blind.

I like how quiet it was, beautiful cottage and out of the way which I wanted, short journeys to visit Barmouth and Fairbourne. The local pub has re-opened, which is literally around the corner and is dog friendly. Short walk to the beach along the stream, really beautiful countryside and locals are very friendly and great value for money!! Thank you for the cake it went down a treat and of course we shared some of this with our dogs.

To say things I didn't like is strong, There are always little things that would be useful to have, but when you way that up with what we paid I can't say there was anything that took away from the stay we had.

The location and house was just perfect, Vikki the host was very accommodating and helpful, will definitely go back.

cottage was stunning, garden nice and quiet. close to the sea and local shop. well equipped with all we would need, nice bonus of TV in bedroom. beds super comfy.

Cottage was a little dusty in places. Cleaning cloth left in the sink in bathroom. open garden so dog not fully secure but happy to go on lead.

Perfect location,lovely walk to beach and ideally placed for train station.Very cosy cottage with great amenities.

10 o’clock check out is a bit early,another hour would of been nice.
