Carlton House - Spacious 4 Bed Victorian townhouse

Great location. Comfortable, well presented and spacious property.

Excellent location within 5 minutes walking distance from the train station. Although we didn`t bring a car was plenty of on street parking was good outside the property. so would consider driving next time. Large comfy bed.

Not keen on showers over a bath although a mat was provided, so a separate shower and bath in the main bathroom would have been preferred.

Spacious, clean, well equipped house in a great location Welcome pack and toiletries were very nice Later check out on a sunday was a great bonus

Well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Very clean as well.

Beds were a bit soft/uncomfortable (particularly the main bed).

The size of the rooms. I thought the idea of having quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash and body lotion a lovely touch. Kitchen was well kitted out with all the utensils you would need, including an iron. Hairdryers in the rooms were handy also meant you didn’t need to bring so much of your own stuff for a short weekend. Location was excellent - 5 min walk to town and 5 min to station for York which is 40 mins.

The double beds upstairs were made up of two single mattresses held together with queen sheets which made sleeping a little uncomfy as a couple, but was not too bad.
