Sage Cottage Buxton Family Getaway with Log Fire

Kitchen was great, good size, good amenities. Comfortable living room. First floor bathroom and bedrooms very comfortable.

The garden is more a yard than a garden and the outdoor table needs upgrading. Loft bed room gets very warm and the addition of a fan is recommended.

Very well equipped kitchen and great dining space. Nicely decorated throughout.Fab main bathroom and lovely to have an ensuite in main bedroom. Enjoyed complimentary bottle of fizz. Thankyou appropriate for my hubbies 60th!

Beds a little bit small for a particularly tall family but were normal size.

Very clean, cosy yet also a spacious kitchen. There was a problem with the attic window that got fixed very promptly. Great also to have a secure area outside for our small dog.

The attic bedroom, as with all attic rooms, was very hot, because we were very lucky with the weather.

We found this gem last minute after our previous accommodation fell through. It was a great location for exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. Modern facilities and well equipped kitchen and house was beautiful throughout. Loved the log burner on a cold April night.

Not much that we didn't enjoy :)

Cottage was nice and cosy, with a large log burner. Kitchen large and welcome pack good. Just a small suggestion of having a pod coffee machine in kitchen or even just a Caffieteirre would be nice.

Towels weren’t big enough Heating didn’t work properly upstairs was freezing

The location is very handy for town and a nice pub(Wetherspoons) but the general surroundings are less salubrious. Nothing to fault with the property, apart from the squeaky staircase but it is an old house. Everything was very comfortable and well equipped.

The general environment was not what we expected and the back outside area was a bit scruffy. We didn’t use it. To be fair, the owners can’t help where it’s located and how the general surroundings are and they have done a top job with the property itself. As mentioned, it is only a short walk into Buxton.
