"A beautiful location undermined by misleading amenities, poor issue handling by the owner, and an ant infestation that"

The location was convenient for Yosemite and the house itself looked nice at first glance. The property management team primarily Lisa was polite over messages and in person.

We had two serious issues during our stay: 1. Misleading EV charging claim: The listing showed “EV charging station,” which was a deciding factor for us. When we arrived, there was no charger on-site. We spent the first night trying to get clarity, and the next morning had to drive into town to charge costing us time, money, and delaying our Yosemite plans. Dip, the owner, eventually responded and gave access to a garage across the street that had a charger behind a locked door. This was never communicated in the listing and is not what most would consider on-site EV charging. 2. Ant infestation: There were ants in the bunk bed room and in our luggage. We noticed a couple the first night in the bathroom, but the situation worsened the next day. We reported the issue before checkout. Lisa, the property manager, was kind and responsive in person and not at fault. Unfortunately, Dip the co-owner handling of both issues left us dissatisfied. Despite acknowledging the situation, no meaningful resolution or goodwill gesture was offered. A bottle of wine was suggested at one point, which felt out of touch given the disruption to our stay.

"Great place to stay"

The house is big and very comfortable. It has everything needed for the stay.

It is quite a long drive to get to the trail. It took us about 1,5 hours. It is not far from the entrance but then you have to drive more so that you know.
