Luxurious apartment 10 minute walk from Old Course

Fantastic apartment in a great location

The kitchen facilities were fantastic. The apartment was spotlessly clean. It was easy to get the keys and drop them off. The wifi worked very well and it was great to have Sky TV and other TV services. The layout is spacious and the decor is pleasant. The location is very convenient for town.

The apartment was far too warm when I first arrived and the only cooling option is to open the windows, but fortunately that was enough to cool it well. The bedroom lighting is somewhat dim, and the main living room/kitchen lighting was flickering badly when I arrived, but the host was very helpful and sent an electrician who fixed the issue. There's no lift and the flat is up two flights of stairs, so be aware of that if you have big bags. The location gets a bit of noise from the music school opposite and then briefly more one evening when there was a gig on at the Church Hall behind the building, plus the entire flat vibrated every time the front door closed in one of the other flats in the building but otherwise it was peaceful.

I hesitated before writing a review, for the simple reason that I want to keep this self-catering place a secret! :-) But that would not be fair to Eric and his team. Outstanding in every respect, and I've been coming to St Andrews for 15 + years.

Great location; very convenient. Great to have a parking space too.

The flat was very cold when we arrived and the heating system not easy to Operate. Once that was sorted everything was perfect.
