Beautiful Little Bungalow, Indoor Fireplace, & Bar

Place hadn’t been cleaned. Had to strip beds; find clean laundry and make beds. Arrived late so couldn’t do much else. Falsely advertising 4 rooms .. my booking confirmation had 4 rooms noted. Owner is a scammer. Didn’t answer phone until called from different number. Hasn’t given compensation promised…AVOID and yes putting in the +ve comment so you can actually see it

Very easy to get into - spacious house with little character touches everywhere - I think I lost myself in how comfy the sofa was! The bed and pillows and very comfy and it was extremely quiet so slept well.

Very torn about this property - On the front very nice but underlying there is a few "handyman" things that need to be looked at. There was cracks in the glass in the living room drawers, massive crack over the sliding wardrobe door and there is a mark, maybe 150cm long across a wall where either a bookshelf or cabinet has been and the shower curtain seal was falling out - it sadly did let the standard down for us. Although the cleanliness of the place wasn't terrible, all of us found that our feet were quite dirty by the end of it, and a fair amount of dust was under things. This place does have potential but I think it needs a weekend of touch ups and it could be something really nice. We were unable to get into the garden bar area - this was locked and no information anywhere on how to get into it which was as shame as the weather was beautiful.

This is advertise as a four bedroom with two double rooms and two singles. This isn’t the case it’s two double rooms and one king-size. The microwave didn’t work. No instruction manuals for anything in the kitchen. The dining room table only sits 4 people. The bathroom could be redone. Not curtains or blinds in the bedroom next to the bathroom. Needs a few renovations also driveway only had enough room for one car due to an ice cream van parked in the driveway. There is an outbuilding with a separate bedroom. This is an extra cost per night no access to the bar like advertised.

Advertised as including a Bar. Property has a bar but it’s all locked up. False advertising. Tried to contact the property owner who never answered my calls or messages. The property is tired and dirty and needs some care and attention.

One of the best I’ve stayed in. Beautifully decorated. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Fab for a family or friends on a weekend break.

Minor niggle: Compared to the rest of the property the shower was a bit “weak”. For somewhere that sleeps 6 people the shower needs an upgrade.
