The garden view

I regret to say that our experience at your bungalow accommodation was extremely disappointing due to significant cleanliness issues. While the setting and garden looked beautiful and peaceful, the state of the property itself was unacceptable. Webs were everywhere, and the dining chairs were filthy, covered with food remnants. The toilet seat was dirty and felt unsafe to use. The sink was clogged and filled with water and residue immediately when used. The bathtub was dirty with paint peeling off. The provided towel had a large chunk of blonde hair, which was extremely unpleasant. The kitchen was the worst area and felt entirely unsafe to use: - Pans had stagnant water in them. - Drawers contained crabs and hair. - The cutlery drawer was filthy; a teaspoon had dried milk on it. - Kitchen appliances were all dirty, with items thrown haphazardly into cupboards. - All utensils, plates, and cutlery were dirty, and we had to wash them before use. The bed sheets didn’t feel clean, especially after seeing the state of the kitchen and towels. I had to wear pajamas and a jumper to feel remotely comfortable, yet still couldn’t sleep well. We arrived at 2:45 PM for a 3 PM check-in, only to find the cleaning lady sitting on the bed in one of the bedrooms. She came to the window to tell us that check-in wasn’t until 3, without greeting us or showing any consideration despite the cold weather. Eventually, she let us in, but the dishwasher and washing machine were running with nothing inside. No dirty laundry was taken with her when she left. As someone with 10 years of hospitality experience, I can confidently say that even the most basic standards of cleanliness were not met. This was supposed to be a relaxing getaway with friends and our daughters, but instead, it was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

Lovely place, beautiful rooms and lounge, stunning garden and decking and furnishings etc.

On the down side, a lot of bits not finished, door frames glued in but no trims, some flooring missing around fire place and between rooms, some skirting boards missing, speaker cables hanging out of corners of ceilings, no wood for fire place, one radiator in lounge not working and never quite got warm. Small bedroom radiator not working and so cold. Reading guest notes these issues have existed for months. Bathroom also needs updating.

Great location, parking for four cars, spacious and clean. The garden is beautiful with plenty of wildlife and we even had a woodpecker in the garden! Really good value for money. Thank you!!

We felt the 3rd bedroom (bedroom nearest the bathroom) needs a little attention with a new mattress and blinds or curtains for the window.

Ideal location for Brands Hatch Race Circuit. Lovely garden. Had a pleasant stay with my family.

The garden was lovely.

Very poor communication from owners, two queries being ignored entirely, no check in instructions given prior to arriving, lounge smelled like dog, no access to promised facilities - eg the bar, bedrooms unclean with big clumps of dust/fur on the floors, no toilet roll provided, no kitchen basics provided like kitchen roll, opened milk and orange juice left in the fridge, bathroom needs updating desperately.

Prefect location for us as our family live locally. Bungalow very spacious with everything you need, off street parking for 4 cars, garden beautiful and well maintained, ideal if you have a dog.
