"A rare haven of tranquillity"

Perfect peace and tranquillity, yet close enough to all essential facilities and wonderful places to visit. A genuinely warm welcome from Jacob and family. Among many highlights; croquet on the lawn and a memorable barbecue, playing 45 rpm classical records on an original deck. Lovely books and a host of information on the area and its history. We will return at the earliest opportunity.

It's very hard to imagine how anyone could find anything to complain about.

"A really lovely setting and a good location for getting around."

Peaceful and quiet location (only bird song). Lots of wild flowers.

The stairs were a little awkward as I had recently had replacement knees.

Lovely location, beautiful interior, compact yet self sufficient kitchen Very comfy beds. Could charge our car - really helpful and responsive owner. Spacious.

Would have been nice to be able to have the dog in the upstairs living room area. Low doorframe to utility room is a little hazardous for tall people !
