"Disappointing family trip experience"

Location

Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was advertised and expected, and I feel compelled to raise several serious concerns. Not suitable for 6 adults as advised! Good thing we ended up being 5 instead of 6 which meant one of us slept on the sofa in the living room which did not even turn into a sofa bed. Upon arrival, it was immediately evident that the property was in an unacceptable state: The entire property was dirty and had a disgusting, musty, damp smell. There was a significant amount of dust throughout. Cabinets were damaged, and there were hairs found on the bedding – clearly indicating a lack of proper cleaning and hygiene. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for a few hours. The condition of the property did not reflect the photos shown on your website in any way. Most alarmingly, we did not feel safe due to the entrance door being in a visibly poor and insecure state. Additionally, one of the main reasons I chose this property was because it was advertised as having on-site parking. From this, I understood that parking was included in the price. However, after paying nearly £200 for one night, I was then informed that I had to pay extra for parking. This is extremely misleading. The term “paid parking” as listed is unclear and can easily be misinterpreted by customers to mean that parking is already paid for in the total price, i.e., included/free. When I filtered properties by “parking” as a required facility, your platform showed this one as a match. Naturally, I assumed that, just like with other listed facilities, parking was included — not an additional charge. As a result, I spent unnecessary time and stress trying to resolve the issue, sitting in my car messaging support and searching for answers, instead of enjoying my stay. This entire experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing.

"Poor"

The location was excellent

The apartment had no working Gas on arrival which meant no cook top or hot water except for on the electric shower. After spending an hour trying to explain to the property managers that I had watched all their videos and I definitely knew how to tell there was no gas they sent someone to fill it up and fixed the stove top. During this search it showed the certifications for the gas monitor to be out of date. There were pans of oil/water in cupboards, the radiators were covered in fluff inside them, most of the instructional videos were out of date and the elevator wasn't working at all. On checkout I received a call advising keys weren't where I left them in the secure lockbox (which is where they were eventually found).
