Unique Luxurious 17-Century Smart Chapel in Historical Center - Sintra WOW

Très bien situé, au coeur de Sintra, donc tout ce fait à pied! Cette chapelle originale est chaleureuse et vraiment mignonne!

The location is very good, close to the city center. Chapel is well decorated, very original but also very cozy.

I got a message on the same day that the machine to play PacMan doesn’t work - okay. When we arrived, we couldn’t find any information where is the snooker, jacuzzi etc. - I was trying to contact the owner multiple times: on booking, whatsapp, by phone, but no one was replying to us. Only after few hours I got a message back that JACUZZI DOES NOT WORK. I feel like this information should have been given us much earlier, not only after arrival and only after my specific question about it. I replied that we anyways can’t enter this area, because the door is closed, we don’t have keys and we don’t know the password. Again - I texted, I called - only after few hours someone answered the call. I believe that if you’re renting someone and doesn’t provide full information, you should be with your phone to answer any questions about the property. Chapel is very cozy, well decorated, but also at night there wasn’t any warm water to take a shower. We were there in November, so it wasn’t hot, so taking a cold shower is not anything cool to do. All weekend was okay, but not what I expected after the pictures and description.

Great location. The house had everything we needed and even more — it’s full of various modern devices! I’m still not sure if that’s a plus or a funny contrast for a 17th-century house. It’s a pity we didn’t have time to try the jacuzzi.

Plastic plants in interior — but that’s just a small detail. Everything else was great.
