Edinburgh Modern 3-Storey 3-Bedroom City Apartment

The proximity to everything Edinburgh, enabling us to explore on foot and pop back to the townhouse to recharge. We found all the kitchen essentials so we could cook and dine easily. There was also lots of local restaurants, bakery’s and other businesses just at the end of the road. The location was central yet nice and quiet as tucked away in a courtyard. Lovely linens and towels. Nice and warm, the heating kept the place cosy quickly so we even turned it off a few times. Great bathrooms and powerful showers. Think bath drainage needs speeded up somehow?

No negatives to be said just some suggestions? Loo roll holder needed in the first floor loo. We loved the flowers but maybe spend that money on a local window cleaner. The townhouse was lovely and cleaned inside with fresh white bedding and towels but the outside windows let this down and it would make a big difference. Even if done once a month? The lounge maybe could do with another twin sofa and a rug so make the settee area cosier. We had a toddler who sits on the floor with his books and a rug would be a great touch. Not negatives! This place is a gem!

Modern, well located and within walking distance of Edinburgh’s highlights. Warm and comfortable. Very near tram drop off from the airport.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. It had coffee, milk in the fridge, and fruit on the table when we arrived which we appreciated.

The carpet in the loft area could use a deep clean. The rest of the apartment are hardwood floors which were lovely.

Loved the location and living areas and layout for 3 couples was great, also the Milk left etc.

The mattress on the loft bed was awful and lacked support - the springs you could feel and it was on a slatted base which is probably why the comfort was awful. You can’t have a sprung mattress on a slatted base. The outside windows and doors needed a good clean as they were so dirty it looked like it was raining all the time. Which surprised me as the inside was extremely clean - just a few scuff marks on the walls.

Great central location, 15 mins walk to Waverley. Quiet lane, easy access. Beds comfortable, bathrooms great. Key box great. Modern and spacious.

Bedroom storage a bit minimal, could do with shelves/drawers in both downstairs bedrooms. Several areas of the flat need some TLC.

Beautifully appointed and in such a quiet location. The garage that others have mentioned only opens at 9am by which time we were all up and ready to enjoy the day ahead. We had one minor problem which was quickly fixed by Stuart who was so helpful and kind and kept us updated on progress. He made us feel very welcome and as though nothing was too much bother. The house was so comfortable and attractive. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean and comfortable. Welcome basket with fruit and snacks plus tea, coffee and fresh milk and flowers . Walkable to town.

One downside was the parking restrictions around Edinburgh. We should have handed in the car as we didn’t need it. Instead parked at st James shopping area- 10 min walk and ev facilities. House itself was wonderful.
