Shower temp didn't seem to alter. Couldn't work the TV (but we could have asked - we were hardly there so it didn't matter 😂)

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple spending a few nights away. Communication with the host was very good and responses were received very quickly. Free on street parking is available if you arrive early enough. Would stay again and recommend to others.

It's such a beautiful apartment and affordable compared to others in the area. We stayed for 2 nights in August. It was clean and spacious for us travelling with a 1 year old. The kitchenette room is a lot cooler than expected, which was nice in the heatwave (but not at night for sleeping - for us anyway). and the main door does let in a lot of light - so bring a blackout blind if planning on staying in that room. The apartment had everything we needed. Kate also gave us a jug of fresh milk in the fridge, which was a great touch. It was decorated beautifully- our little one loved the beach balls. There were some spades that we could use for the beach. Washing up liquid, hand soap, and bodywash provided. Free Wi-Fi and there was sky for the TV, and games provided in the draws, too. The location was great getting to the old town but be warned there are many hills and steps nearby, so pick your route carefuly and stick to main roads, especially when travelling with a buggy. The views were phenomenonal by the green outside the apartment. We managed to grab a parking spot outside the apartment easily, which was great. As everything was so close, we didn'tneed to move the car. Kate was so lovely and had great communication. A wonderful host of the apartment. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Hastings.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable - a little hard - and could feel some springs and with very thin pillows. (We personally like very thick pillows) Only one night could we hear people closing doors above (which did sound like slamming to us below and did wake our baby one time) but to be expected as the bedroom is underneath the main house, and we were in the apartment from 7pm due to a having a baby with us.

The location was so convenient to the Old Town of Hastings coupled with the fact a bus stop was right outside the property. It was moments from West Hill with its stunning views of the sea. The accommodation was clean, very comfortable, thoughtfully equipped and stylish. It was to a very high standard and it was evident real care and attention had been given. Communication with the owner was very easy and extremely helpful.

Lovely location and parking wasn't too much of an issue. We arrived on a bank holiday Monday so streets were probably a little busier than usual but managed to eventually grab a good parking spot over the road to enable us to pack car up on last day. Bust stop directly outside so convenient if needed. Convenience store local and pub over the road. Kate very friendly and only too happy to help with any issues and enquiries. Old town walking distance but be prepared to use those leg muscles. Not too far away BUT pretty steep incline. Stunning views as you leave the property to start walk down to old town. Comfy large bed with no issues with sleep.

Shower was super powerful however I found it a tad too hot and couldn't seem to master reducing temp but after chatting with Kate it may be due to a recent new boiler. A little bit of noise from hosts which wasn't a huge issue but something to be aware of as accommodation an add on to hosts home so some noise at times mainly bathroom/bedroom end and above but dulled down when bathroom/bedroom door shut. Other than these few little things it wouldn't stop us from staying again :-)
