Unique & Luxurious 2 Bedroom City Centre Apartment

Loved the quirky interior design and you're in the city centre within a few minutes of walking. Bed was decent, nice pillows.

Had to move the microwave to use as no socket next to it. No wine or flute glasses so had to drink fizz out of tumblers.

Fantastic location. So close to shops and restaurants. Host was very good. The Apartment was stylish and cozy. Great for a little getaway

The central location was really helpful. If you want to be near the thick of it, this place it great. I could walk to the Motorpoint arena/Ice center. Many restaurants nearby. The apartment itself has nice amount of room, the high ceilings create a great sense of space. The apartment has a lot of potential and it wouldn't take all that much to improve it.

Both beds (mattresses) were lumpy and lack support. Pillows are pretty cheap too. The very responsive host quickly provided a mattress topper, but that went directly on top of another mattress topper.. A new memory foam mattress at Ikea isn't all that expensive and should be considered promptly. The small room needs blackout drapes. Both rooms need dual-pane windows to block noise. The existing windows need rope repair as they don't stay open, but a window replacement would be a better use of such funds. Unfortunately, the previous guest smoked. They were fined apparently but it'd didn't benefit my stay in any way. There needs to be clothing/towel hooks in the bathrooms. No place, other than a wonderful towel warmer in one bathroom, to hang articles while showering. Some small shelves would also help to put your toiletries. Main bedroom needs a lamp as it has none and the ceiling lights are so bright without dimmer. kitchen needs a few things: There's nowhere to plug in the Microwave, nor was there a plug board or extension. Dishwasher didn't work (latch issue). The freezer was frozen over. These type of issues tell me it's not really checked over all that well before arrival. Simple things like a organizer for forks/knives/spoons would be very welcome. It's the touches that help. It always benefits a host to actually stay a few nights and see whats needed.
